Kocktail Bleu deserves to double his tally over hurdles. He was a rock-solid runner-up to a Grade 1-bound performer in the Grade 2 Dovecote at Kempton last time, while the form of his second to Baron Noir earlier in the season looks solid with that one going on to finish fourth behind Old Park Star in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle.

BetWright Handicap Hurdle (Class 2) – Kelso – 1.30

The progressive Judicial Deference is unbeaten in handicaps and now three from four over hurdles following success here 36 days ago. He looks to have more to offer and won't be phased by the return to this sounder surface.

Storming George has some eye-catching form in the book, including when third in a maiden hurdle here that has thrown up the winner of the Morebattle Hurdle and the Dovecote. BetVictor Home Of The Saturday Superboost Handicap Chase (Class 2) – Newbury – 2.25

Heltenham has won this in 2023 and 2024 and arrives back at Kelso having posted a good effort when winning the Greatwood Gold Cup. He's four from six over course and distance and a 6lb rise his latest success might not be enough to stop him back at his favoured venue.

BetWright Novices' Handicap Chase (Class 2) – Kelso – 2.40

Dan Skelton does well at this meeting and Diamond Dealer looks tailormade for this track. He was only caught late on when given an aggressive front-running ride at Wetherby last month and this unexposed seven-year-old should be suited by similar tactics.

BetVictor British EBF "National Hunt" Mares' Novices' Hurdle (Limited Handicap) (Grade 2) -Newbury – 3.00

Watamu ran well behind the reopposing Charisma Cat at Market Rasen. Emma Lavelle's mare is now 4lb better off with that rival and with the step up in trip expected to suit, she could be the one to side with under Harry Cobden.

Virgin Bet Supports Safe Gambling Handicap Hurdle (Class 2) – Bangor-On-Dee – 3.20

In The Age gets in off a lowly weight here and has been progressing nicely over hurdles. He beat a subsequent winner in his novice event at Catterick and ought to know more following his promising handicap debut second at Uttoxeter in January.

Goffs Hundred Grand Bumper (Class 2) – Newbury – 3.35

Madam Speaker gets heaps of weight from the two previous winners at the top of the market and that might make all the difference. Trained by the in-form Nicky Henderson, she shaped with bundles of promise when runner-up in a decent-looking Wincanton bumper on debut and should come forward for that initial experience.
