On Saturday he won the Aoba Sho (Derby Trial)  on Going To Sky, a son of Contrail who started on 8.1 and defeated Tidal Lock and the favourite Black Olympian.  Unfortunately Noble Savage, Damien Lane's mount, had to be pulled up and therefore failed to finish.

On Sunday Take was back on Admire Zoom  and into the winner's enclosure in the Yomiuri Milers' Cup in Kyoto.  Dragon Boost was second and Bellagio Bondi third.

In the Flora (Oaks Trial) the Aussies took over with Damian Lane winning on the favourite Laughterlines (who looks very promising) beating Michael Dee's mount Enne by 1 ¼ lengths with Realize Luminous third.
