Big field and a deep betting race for the Easter Cup. Just have to give IMMEDIACY (6) one more chance at the prices he's come up. The fresh run behind subsequent G1 Australian Cup winner Light Infantry Man was outstanding before racing flat second up. Being back and wide was impossible at Flemington last time - forgive that, he's a huge price.
Matthew Smith sends PLACID PEARL (2) to Queensland following recent stakes racing in Sydney. Travelled handy and did a great job to hold on for third at 100-1 in the Group 3 Epona over 1900m at Rosehill last start. Maps nicely in behind the speed and will find this far easier. Beautifully placed to take this out.
Keen to see SMOOTH CHINO (6) on his return after coming on impressively last campaign, culminating in a dominant win in the Black Heart Bart. He's still unbeaten and looks a genuine Quokka threat. He's impressed at the trials coming in and he can return with a bang in the Roma Cup.
TEST OF LOVE (8) has returned in superb order and was only run down late when chasing a hat-trick. He raced a touch keen last time, so if Milnes can get him to relax he'll be mighty tough to run down.
