Six meetings across the country and here are the specials from Racing and Sports.

Today's Specials from the team. Picture: Racing and Sports

MUSWELLBROOK: RACE 7

Plenty of strong form lines converge. OAKFIELD ALASKA (6) debuted against the black-type placegetter Tupakara at Scone last start and gave that filly a galloping lesson. Savaged the line that day so an extra 250m looks perfect. Looks well above average and is clearly the benchmark in this field.

ROSEHILL: RACE 5

BEV'S NINE (5) puts an unbeaten record on the line after five straight wins. Returns from a let-up and since fitted with a 900m trial win at this track. Held in high regard by the stable and should have little problem accounting for these. Go close.

SANDOWN-LAKESIDE: RACE 5

VANGOGH BANKCHEQUE (5) looks very well placed here second up. He was heavily supported first up at Flemington in a handy race and found the line well behind a good horse in Legacy Bound having jumped out very well leading in. Comes back a notch or two here and will be very hard to hold out.

IPSWICH: RACE 1

The babies kick us off. PIXIE LANE (4) just ran into one better over this track and trip on debut and will have derived a bunch of benefit from that day at the races. Hoop Du Plessis sticks in the saddle and maps nicely for this from gate three. Looks the one they all have to run down.

OAKBANK: RACE 5

AITCH D'AMICO (3) is going better than his form reads. Finally draws a gate and reunites with Holder. Expect him to take closer order and be too strong for them when they sprint.

YORK: RACE 7

SPACE ACADEMY (9) scored a good win two back at Belmont before disappointing when out in trip at Albany last time out. Back to 1500m today is a big tick and he looks very well placed at this level. Draw is the query but his win two back stacks right up.
