WARWICK FARM: RACE 3
ABOVE THE LAW (2) will be cherry ripe at the third run back from a spell. Shared the lead before finding a couple better over 1300m here a fortnight ago. Failed once at this trip but it was at the end of the prep. Should dictate and can lead this modest field a merry dance.
SANDOWN-LAKESIDE: RACE 7
CHOWDOWN (5) looks well placed. The first-up win was solid at $1.90 but he really caught the eye last time at Flemington when quickly up in grade, finding the line well behind a smart filly in Exit. He clearly relished the wet ground there and should get his toe in here too.
DOOMBEN: RACE 4
GOOD BANTER (5) has been competing in much harder Group races in the southern states and looks very placed here against this company. Ready to peak now third-up from the break and may well prove too classy for this line-up.
BALAKLAVA: RACE 8
ZOUTRAIL (5) has been denied narrowly in her last two but is at her top now on the quick back-up and is ready to put it all together. The key switch in Toeroek for this stable signals intent.
PINJARRA SCARPSIDE: RACE 2
BONDITRAM (4) resumed in solid order at Ascot over 1000m beaten 1.3L. Went back second-up and spiked his figures missing by a nose over 1200m. He will be fitter again and today he benefits from a 3kg claim. Rates to go one better.
