Eight meetings across the country and here are the specials from Racing and Sports.

Today's Specials from the team. Picture: Racing and Sports

NARROMINE: RACE 5

MICRO MIKKI (1) hasn't won for a while but his recent form in strong races has been commendable. Finished third at massive odds in the Country Championship Final two back then raced five deep and understandably failed to ping in the straight in a Midway at Randwick last Saturday. Nicely in on 58kgs and should be too good for these.

HOBART: RACE 5

LIVE ON LOVE (3) wound up well last time over 1200m at this track to finish third. Looks suited first attempt at this trip and fitter again will pay to follow up with the top hoop engaged.

PORT MACQUARIE: RACE 4

BUSY BEE (8) good type who made a promising debut with a fast finishing second over 1000m at Taree. Ready for the extra trip and expected to go one better here.

SEYMOUR: RACE 2

HOLDING CAPTIVE (3) looks very well placed at his second start. The debut run at Geelong was very good, well backed there and giving a huge sight in front before just being edged out by a nose. He should bounce straight to the front and can go one better.

SEYMOUR: RACE 3

MAHMUDAH (9) looks much better placed here having tackled a stronger race at Caulfield last time in a Class 3, hardly disgraced there at a 60-1 shot when beaten under three lengths. Her form in handy maidens prior reads very well, she should take plenty of catching here.

GATTON: RACE 5

Open race with plenty of win chances but sticking with the handy SPIRIT OF BARTY (7). Won strongly on debut then placed in town before another break. Looks well placed here fresh and expected to go close.

ALBANY: RACE 6

HEAD'EM (3) tested the waters at 1500m last start and held his own, but coming back to this trip looks a big tick for him. He's unbeaten at this track and trip and the inside draw should see him get every possible for Fiore. Racing in top order and can go one better now.

ROCKINGHAM: RACE 4

SPACE ACADEMY (2) brings strong numbers to this contest and the top metro hoop rides. Has been cruelled by wide gates but draws kinder today. Went close four back at Belmont and missed a nose from the back at York before the latest. On a quick back-up and is the one to beat.

PORT AUGUSTA: RACE 6

UNCLE BARRY (5) has returned in great order this campaign. His most recent two runs include a win at Broken Hill and then a lip-defeat last start here. Only needs to hold his form to be fighting out the finish again.
