Five meetings across the country and here are the specials from Racing and Sports.
M'LADY ROSE (12) came off a Group 3 with a solid first-up effort in a 64 at Sandown-Lakeside in stronger. Wasn't far away on a heavy track at over 1600m at Pakenham following and will be better for that. Will push forward and the lightly raced filly has the talent to win.
I AM ADONIS (7) gets the nod after finishing third in a strong form race when fresh from a spell over 1100m at Rosehill last start. Needs the longer trip second-up and the blinkers going on might add some spark. Clearly looks the one but followers might have to take red odds.
AMBER AFFAIR (6) is unlucky to still be a maiden hitting the top-four at her past seven starts and strikes a very winnable contest here. Has placed two of three over this track and trip and gets in well at the weights with the 2kg claim. Goes on top.
THE STARS ALIGN (8) missed the start as favourite at Canberra but it didn't matter, winding up powerfully to reel them in with something in hand. Hard not to take him seriously off that and there's no reason he can't bring up the hat trick now.
SNIPPETY LEGEND (2) deserved his win here this grade/trip and then spiked his numbers beaten over 1400m at Ascot, stalking the lead. The well-bred galloper keeps Faithfull and is well-placed to bounce back.
