Six meetings across the country and here are the specials from Racing and Sports.

Today's Specials from the team. Picture: Racing and Sports

WAGGA: RACE 4

PORTLAND MISS (9) burst through late to score at a big quote on debut at Hawkesbury, and the eye-catching way she attacked the line suggests there's plenty more to come.

MUSWELLBROOK: RACE 6

OCEAN CHILL (7) progressive mare who finds her race fourth-up. Comes out of a strong form race after making good late ground for a narrow second to Chilli Margs over 1400m at Hawkesbury. Maps well and can put these away.

GEELONG: RACE 1

FENESTELLA (8) looked to have found the perfect race to break her duck first-up and while seemingly disappointing given she went under at $1.55, she was only beaten just over a length and raced like a horse who would appreciate more ground. She gets that here and in a weaker race with blinkers going on, so she's worth sticking with and looks a standout.

PAKENHAM: RACE 8

Sticking with LAUBERHORN (4) who was heavily supported on debut at Sale and won well enough, beating six rivals as the $1.50 favourite. Probably didn't beat much there but he should have learnt plenty from it and he can measure up to this grade.

MACKAY: RACE 8

SMART MISSION (3) resumed much improved winning a 60 at Rockhampton and then was heavily bet there both starts after, missing a nose over this distance 7-days ago. Peaks and is ready to win for Rockhampton's top barn.

BORDERTOWN: RACE 3

ROCKTAGON (2) raced on the pace last start and lifted strongly beaten a head over today's journey at Murray Bridge. Spiked his numbers and will be fitter again. This is a nice drop in grade and he can go one better.
