Tauherenikau racecourse provides without doubt one of the most picturesque environments in New Zealand. Home to Wairarapa Racing Club, it's set in 110 acres of beautiful native bush, magnificent trees and peaceful surroundings with a backdrop of the magnificent Tararua ranges. Holding 2 racedays a year in January and February, this is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a picnic whilst watching the racing. The racedays are a superb opportunity to hold corporate functions, the racecourse is also available throughout the year for conferences, budget type accommodation is available, and we are a family friendly environment.
