Aintree and Punchestown still remain but the flat season is right around the corner now and it's only four days away until the turf is back at Doncaster this weekend.

There's not much on offer this afternoon in the way of punting opportunities but there are a couple of solid-looking selections who can hopefully help add to the pot.

Both wagers come from Wolverhampton, with the booking of Rossa Ryan looking like a huge positive for Quick Turn in the Daily Profit Boosts At betmgm.co.uk Handicap (4.23).

George Boughey's Worlington has been well-backed to make a winning handicap debut but at the prices, Quick Turn makes more appeal.

He shaped as though his turn wasn't far away when fourth over a mile at Southwell last time out, keeping on in the closing stages having been denied a clear passage up the straight.

A 1lb drop in the weights for that effort looks lenient and with further progress on the cards, he requires plenty of respect from a good draw.

Quick Turn – 1pt Win

Odds – 11/4

In the following contest, Billy Loughnane looks to have an excellent chance of landing another contest at Wolverhampton thanks to Sorted, who goes for his father Mark in the Daily Profit Boosts At betmgm.co.uk Handicap (4.55).

Steadily progressive at a low level, he did nothing wrong when denied a short head over this course and distance eight days ago and a replication of that effort might well suffice in a weak event.

Sorted – 1pt Win

Odds – 6/4
