Noel George and Amanda Zetterholm look to have a high-class performer on their hands in the shape of Metronomique, who gets ready to make his Auteuil debut having ran out a commanding winner of a Class 2 over hurdles at Compiegne last time.

A three-time winner over fences prior, that hurdling success should have put him spot on for this, while it was tough not to be impressed with the manner of his Listed chase victory at Compiegne late last season.

He should have bundles more to offer over fences this campaign and this progressive four-year-old can take this en-route to bigger and better things.
