Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc are set to re-enter the Indian Premier League, with both fast bowlers returning from injury and workload management to bolster their sides.

Starc, cleared by Cricket Australia after shoulder and elbow concerns, is due in Delhi on Friday. He is expected to have a week to prepare before a likely season debut against Rajasthan Royals on 1 May.

Meanwhile, Pat Cummins, recovering from a lumbar stress injury that has sidelined him since the Adelaide Ashes Test in December, is pencilled in to return for Sunrisers Hyderabad against Rajasthan in Jaipur on Saturday.

Their immediate challenge will be Rajasthan's teenage prodigy Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who has already made a sharp impression this season.

The 15-year-old struck Josh Hazlewood for 4, 4, 4 and 6 from his first four balls in a recent match in Jaipur, underlining the task facing the returning Australian quicks.

Elsewhere, Sanju Samson produced a standout innings to lead Chennai Super Kings to a dominant 103-run win over Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium.

Samson followed a recent unbeaten century with another, finishing 101 not out from 54 balls and anchoring Chennai to 6-207 after being sent in to bat.

Trinidadian spinner Akeal Hosein then dismantled Mumbai's chase with figures of 4-17, striking twice in his opening overs.

Mukesh Choudhary also made an early impact, removing Quinton de Kock for seven, as Mumbai were bowled out for 104 in 19 overs.

The defeat marked Mumbai's heaviest loss in IPL history and their third consecutive home defeat at Wankhede this season.
