The Freedman name has been near the top of the tree for 30 years now since Tawrrific and Super Impose quinellad the Melbourne Cup.
When brothers Lee, Richard and Michael took on various interstate and international ventures, Anthony has remained a constant at several Victoria bases.
Now he trains in his own name but is still getting substantial results with a much smaller string of horses.
He had two top sprinters arrive at the same time. Shoals took three Group 1s during her career but the flagbearer was Santa Ana Lane with many G1s on his CV coming in four different states.
