Hailing from New Zealand, Bjorn Baker worked for his trainer father Murray Baker from a young age also graduating with a Bachelor Of Pharmacy in 1999.
in 2007 Bjorn Baker joined his father's stable with the pair going into partnership in 2008 with good success, training over 30 stakes winners in three seasons.
Bjorn Baker moved to Australia to establish his own Warwick Farm stable during the 2011/12 season
Baker initially had good success with stayers but it was two-year-old colt Unencumbered that really propelled his career when winning the 2014 Magic Millions at the Gold Coast.
In 2016, Bjorn Baker claimed his first Group 1 victory with Music Magnate in the Doomben 10,000.
