Gary Portelli took over the training license of his mother in 1990 at Orange before taking an opportunity to set up a new stable at Warwick F arm shortly after.
Portelli trained his first Group 1 winner in 2000 when Hill Of Grace took out the Australia Stakes the stables biggest success coming with She Will Reign in the 2017 Group 1 Golden Slipper at Rosehill Gardens.
Other victories that stand out include the wins of Rebel Dane in the Group 1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes and the Group 1 Manikato Stakes before a trip to Hong Kong for the Group 1 International Sprint.
