Michael Kent began his training career in the early 1990's and has trained with good success ever since.
Winning his first Group 1 with Bullwinkle in the 1994 SA Derby, Michael Kent was granted a training license in Singapore in 1996 where he had plenty of success, including a win in the Singapore Gold Cup in 1999 with Carry The Flag, finishing runner-up in the trainers premiership in Singapore.
Kent moved to Macau in 2001 where he trained 128 winners over three seasons before returning to Cranbourne in 2004.
Kent tasted Group 1 success again in the 2011 AJC Oaks with Absolutely and continues to train winners throughout Victoria on a regular basis.
