Four meetings across the country and here are the specials from Racing and Sports.
SAPPHIRE COAST: RACE 5 @ 3:40 PM
CASINO SHAW (8) progressive mare who gives the indication the 1400m will suit. Third-up now after she sat up on the speed for a courageous third over 1200m at this track. McLucas sticks and finds the right race.
RAINBOW BLESSING (7) found 1100m too short when resuming last start at Armidale but her last 200m was eye-catching. Filled a placing over this course and distance last prep. Looks to be in the right race to make a big impression at nice odds.
PANDA'S SPECTRUM (14) debuted over 1400m in solid order and then improved sharply, beaten a whisker over 1600m at Cranbourne. That's good form, and she will be fitter again. The inside gate will be advantageous, and Nolen is a positive jockey engagement. She's the one they have to beat.
Several win chances. OUTBACK BANDIT (3) has had two runs for the new yard, placing at each. Boasts a strong third-up record winning 2/3 starts and expected to go close.
