TWICE AZ COOL (8) returned from a 14-month spell with an impressive second last start over 1100m at Scone, hanging on well after showing pace to be beaten less than a length. Draws a far better gate this time and with some natural improvement to come he clearly looks the one to beat.
SUPERLIV (6) led and spiked her figures beaten just 0.8 lengths in second over 1100m at Geelong. Draws an inside barrier and has the class to take care of this field.
HELL TO THE LINE (5) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten one length, over 1680m at Ipswich. Gary Geran stays aboard and although yet to win has been in the money on four occasions. Sure to play a big role.
