Midweek racing from Caulfield Heath and we've got a couple to follow.

Caulfield Heath Race 1 - Ertijaaj

Had to double check the profile of this imported mare, by Night Of Thunder out of Estijaab who of course won the Golden Slipper in 2018. This Northern Hemisphere filly debuted at Haydock Park and has made her way to Chris Waller, winning very softly over 1500m. Ben Melham never really let her go and she cruised home to win by half a length which no doubt could've been much bigger. She looks a nice one to follow.

Caulfield Heath Race 7 - Landmark

Always had a decent opinion of this horse and this was a very strong first up run, off a year-long spell over 1000m and charging home from the tail of the field for second to a sharp one in Along The River. I do note he had glue on shoes off here so he's likely had some feet issues that look to be rectified. His win before the long spell was in fast time and he looks on track to be getting back to that sort of number this time in.
