The PGA Tour moves to Louisiana for the Zurich Classic, where 74 teams compete in alternating foursomes and fourball formats.
resh off Rory McIlroy's dramatic Masters victory earlier in the year and Matt Fitzpatrick's play-off win over Scottie Scheffler at the RBC Heritage, the PGA Tour heads to Louisiana for its only team event of the season, the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
A field of 74 two-man teams will compete at TPC Louisiana in Avondale from Thursday 23 April to Sunday 26 April. The par-72 course measures up to 7,425 yards and will stage alternating formats across four rounds to decide the champions.
Play is scheduled to begin at 1pm UK time each day, with a two-tee start for the opening two rounds. The prize fund stands at $9.5m, with the winning pair sharing $1.4m each.
The tournament uses a rotating format. Round one is fourball, where each player plays their own ball and the best score counts. Round two switches to foursomes, with teammates alternating shots using one ball. The format then returns to fourball in round three before finishing with foursomes on Sunday. Any play-off holes also alternate between the two systems.
Last year, Ben Griffin and Andrew Novak edged the Hojgaard twins by one shot, while Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry lifted the title in 2024. Griffin and Novak return as defending champions.
Attention will also fall on several high-profile pairings, including Brooks Koepka teaming up with Shane Lowry, and the Fitzpatrick brothers featuring among the leading duos. Tee times and full pairings will run throughout the week, with coverage also available on Sky Sports Golf and talkSPORT.
