Dean Yendall began his career in 1991 apprenticed to Ken Sweeney before finishing with Peter Grey.
A consistent jockey who has won the Victorian country jockeys' premiership on multiple occasions, Dean Yendall consistently rides over 100 winners a season.
Yendall rates his win on Niwot in the 2011 Lexus Stakes as one of his best wins, going on to partner the same runner to a top 10 finish in the Melbourne Cup that year.
In 2016 Dean Yendall claimed a much deserved Group 1 success aboard Yankee Rose in the Moet & Chandon Spring Champion before partnering I Am A Star to a win in the Group 1 Myer Classic the same year.
Yendall does plenty of riding for leading Victorian trainer Darren Weir in the country with the pair having plenty of success around the state.
